Hey Guys a little project update i finished this a while back how ever they finally lunched it so i can put it up small 5 second project no real problems one issue thou was getting the rays to work mildly well hope you like it

Well the First Ever After Effects User Group in Toronto Is Coming, Finally cause i was getting really Sirius about going to NY or something to attend one of these Extravaganzas but i digress one of the first cool thing they did with AETO(After Effects Toronto) is a Mograph Challenge and you know what i say to that… Helzz ya. any way the challenge was fairly open to interpretation a 5 second comp with a theme of AETO and the rest is up to you so before i ramble on even more i present to you my entry to the 5 second AETO challenge

So i made a new opening title for my reel that kind of matchs the theme for the site. i re posted the reel and updated it with some new projects check it out tell me what you think

Well its been a while but i had some staff going on so i did not have a chance to finish the project. I added a wide shoot of the hole thing and then transitioned into the main frame its not perfect but i guess it works to illustrate the idea here you go enjoy

been busy this week trying to figure out this fictional shoe design the story is this.There was a shoe i liked made by diesel so i used it. After some creative photo manipulation  the company brand is  I SEL (lol dropped some letters ) any ways this is a shoe flying throw space and sort of burning up in the atmosphere . all elements and animation are done by me it took a lot of figuring out and i am still in the process of making it because its not done but i rendered a frame thinking i should share so here you go i will keep you posted.

I have been experimenting with Particular for the past couple of days trying to create something cool and I’m happy to report that it is here. Now most normal people would have created some text in 3d and broken it apart using p_flow or something similar to get a nice 3d partical sim, me however I like it the hard way :] A lot of people probably do this the same way or better but this method is pure cheat so here we go using Particular. I set it up to emit particals from a layer using a light. The first layer was text with alpha then when Particular emitted 20,000 particals I faded out the layer leaving me with 20,000 particals  in the shape and colour of the layer. I then proceeded to use gravity and turbulence displacement to manipulate the particals in a cool fashion that’s to my liking hope you agree.

So I’ve been taking some advanced AfterEffects animation classes and decided to share some class work with you. These are not my designs. The elements are provided in class however the animation is all me. I even added some spice to make it real nice. Let me know what you think.
