Sunday
The video was edited on Adobe Premier CS3, the titles were rendered in Adobe AfterEffects CS3 and sound editing was done in Premier and ProTools. The song was downloaded from an open source audio site that gives royalty free music for different use it was hard to find a good beat :] This is the fourth edit of the video after rounds of revisions and changes. Enjoy.
Tuesday
Hey, Just rendered out some 3DSM stuff. Since I haven’t posted any yet I thought it’d be a good idea to share some. Nothing special just some tests and concepts I had laying around. Check them out ;]
Tuesday
It took a some work and to be honest I could’ve spent an extra 3 months on this thing but I guess the mark of a true post production artist is to know when to let go :] It’s not perfect but I was pressed for time and I think it came together in the end. All the work was done in ProTools LE.
Saturday
Hey guys,
I thought I’d give audio production a try. The reason being I was looking through some stuff online and it dawned on me I don’t really have any audio work posted. Probably due to the fact that most of my audio experience came from a video I worked on for a bank that I can’t really post. I was introduced to the project after they shot the whole thing and realized they had no sound to go with all the footage. I ended up redubbing the whole thing i.e. the dialogue, background noise, footsteps… the whole shabang basically. However being under a N.D.A (non-disclosure agreement for those not in the biz) I can’t say what it was nor can I post it online. So instead I’ve decided to put something together that will kind of reflect all the work I did on that project. My choice is [this]. Guild wars is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game) that i used to play a while back. Let me just say to the guys at ArenaNet™ you guys rock!
I’m going to grab the trailer for this game, erase all the sound then recreate it all from scratch. It’ll be interesting to say the least since I’m only going to use open source sound libraries for obvious reasons and because I have no audio gear to go and record my own sounds. If I did that would be epic I know but I’m not that full of win.
You can watch the original trailer [here]

Saturday
So I took some advice from a friend and made icons for all my project sections in order to attract more attention to it. After some tests and work and a lot of constructive criticism (mostly just criticism) from the editor of this site, I came up with these. They are just still images that I made with Photoshop and AfterEffects but I’m actually planning on animating them into motion titles because i liked the concepts so much. I’ll keep you posted. Enjoy :]

Wednesday
This was a Xmas card that was made to be emailed off to one of our client’s customers the turn around was about an hour or so.
Wednesday
This is my latest work. This video is going to be screened at the Toronto Pearson National Airport for generations to come :] So I’m mighty proud of my work and again the turn around time was literally around 3-4 hours :]

Wednesday
Well I am glad to say that after a lot of hard work and what not I got everything on the site that piled up over the last several months. Now I can update the site as I go and stop stressing. I just finished a project where I made an animated light source with a visible cone light up a logo to expose it then make it vanish. I did this the hard way (as usual) by making the cone in Photoshop. I made a duplicate which I blurred and added to the composition. Then I animated the whole thing in 3d. All in all it looked good but the client wanted to go in another direction which is why it was scrapped. That didn’t stop me from working on it though since the B man ain’t no quitter :] This ended up leading to the discovery of the most amazing plugin named Lux from my favorite plugin dudes Trapcode. It basically natively draws Volumetric light in AfterEffects and looks epic.
Here’s a sample pic
